Legalizes middle-housing options on residential lots statewide and limits local rules that block practical infill homes.
SB 4061: Building Codes - Stairs
Allows single-stair residential buildings up to six stories when core life-safety standards are met.
SB 4063: Plans and Inspections
Sets clear municipal review timelines and allows qualified third-party review or inspection when deadlines are missed.
SB 4064: Residential Parking
Caps or removes parking minimums in key residential contexts to reduce housing costs and expand project feasibility.
SB 4071: Accessory Dwellings
Requires municipalities to allow ADUs in single-family districts without extra local barriers beyond base single-family rules.
